‎‎‎‎Berlin and Munich 2003 - 2005

The statue exhibition "Space and Joy" attracted many visitors in Berlin (2003) and Munich (2004/2005). A special highlight was the spontaneous visit of the late Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche in Berlin. The exhibition had on display statues and ritual implements, which carry a deep symbolism going beyond the purely artistic aspect. Based on Buddhist teachings, this symbolism enables us to realize the timeless qualities of our own mind. Beside their artistic quality, the artefacts stand out because of their use for meditation practice until today.

The detailed catalogue “Space & Joy” accompanied the exhibition. The exhibition served as model for many of the following projects.
