The Work of the Diamond Way Buddhism Foundation
The foundation works worldwide within a framework of a network of over 500 Buddhist centers and various projects, and promotes, in part in collaboration with governmental agencies, a wide spectrum of activities with a Buddhist background.
The Diamond Way Buddhism Foundation:
- Offers public access to Buddhist teachings and meditations.
- Creates publicly-accessible places for meeting, exchange, studies and retreat.
- Supports facilities for Buddhist-oriented terminal care.
- Supports projects in regions in which the political and social conditions in the past have made access to personal spiritual development difficult or have completely prohibited it.
- Finances the translation of traditional Buddhist texts into western languages.
- Supports Buddhist art, Tibetan medicine and culture.
- Organizes, attends to and supports international Buddhist networks.
- Supports charitable and social services within the context of a non-profit organization.
